Lubbock, TX – David Surber Killed in Crash on 82nd St
Lubbock, TX (December 26, 2019) – A motorcyclist lost his life in a collision on 82nd Street on Monday.
On December 23, just after noon, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on 82nd Street. Reports from police indicate that a pickup truck –pulling a trailer and a motorcycle were both traveling west along the roadway when the two vehicles collided in the 100 block of East 82nd Street near Ash Avenue.
The impact of the collision sent the motorcycle into the eastbound lane where it was struck by a roll-off dumpster.
The driver of the motorcycle, who was identified as 33-year-old David Surber, incurred fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
At this time, the Lubbock Police Department is investigating.
