Austin, TX – Ana Argueta ID’d as TX-71 Crash Victim

Austin, TX (December 27, 2019) – Authorities have identified the female killed in the TX-71 pedestrian accident earlier this month.

On December 19th, at approximately 6:51 a.m., authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on State Highway 71.

Reports from police indicate that 62-year-old Ana Argueta was attempting to cross in the 7600 block of TX-71, near Scenic Brook Drive, when she was struck by a Dodge Ram pickup truck.

Argueta sustained fatal injuries and was immediately declared deceased.

At this time, police are investigating.
