Stratford, TX – David Hall Killed in US-287 Collision
Stratford, TX (December 30, 2019) – A major motor vehicle accident on US Highway 287 claimed one man’s life.
On December 27, just after 6:15 p.m., authorities responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on US Highway 287. Reports from the Texas Department of Public Safety indicate that 68-year-old David Hall was traveling south along the roadway in a 2001 Dodge Stratus when his vehicle collided with a pickup truck on the roadway.
The impact of the collision caused Hall’s vehicle to bounce off the first pickup truck and collide with a 2009 Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck.
Hall sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Dodge Ram was injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment.
At this time, DPS is investigating.
