Corpus Christi, TX – 2 Injured In Boating Accident Near Cos Way Bait And Tackle

Corpus Christi, TX (January 4, 2020) On the morning of January 3rd, a boating accident occurred in the waters near Cos Way Bait and Tackle. According to reports, the incident happened at about 2:55 a.m.

Two men were fishing when the boat’s steering wheel malfunctioned, causing the boat to crash into a gas platform.

Emergency crews arrived within 15 minutes and found the men holding onto the gas platform. Both of the men were transported to Cos Way Fishing Pier Bait & Tackle for treatment of their injuries. One of the men sustained a leg injury and a laceration to his forehead.

Authorities are still currently investigating this collision.
