Galveston, TX – 1 Person Killed in Boat Accident
Galveston, TX (January 15, 2020) – A boat accident left one person with fatal injuries on Tuesday.
At around 3:35 p.m., on January 14, the Coast Guards responded to the scene of an incident in the water near Galveston. Reports indicate that four people were discovered to be in the water after a boat collided with a 600-foot chemical tanker.
Two fishermen were pulled from the water by good Samaritans. Both victims were transported to an area hospital where one of the men was declared deceased.
Two men were still missing and have not been located.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
