Corpus Christi, TX – Pedestrian Struck & Killed on Rodd Field Rd
Corpus Christi, TX (January 16, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Wednesday evening left one pedestrian fatally injured.
On January 15, authorities responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Rodd Field Road. Reports indicate that a 60-year-old male was attempting to cross the roadway near the intersection of Rodd Field Road and Yorktown Boulevard when he was struck by a motor vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene, leaving the man on the road.
A Good Samaritan spotted the man lying in the road and called police. The victim was declared deceased upon arrival.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
