Longview, TX – Kristyne Iron Killed in Mobberly Ave Collision
Longview, TX (January 16, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Wednesday sadly claimed one woman’s life.
At around 7:21 a.m., on January 15, authorities in Longview were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 2100 block of Mobberly Avenue.
According to reports, 57-year-old Kristyne Iron was traveling north along the roadway in a black Pontiac sedan when her vehicle collided with a white Chrysler Town & Country.
After the initial impact, Iron was ejected from her vehicle. She sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center. Authorities declared Ms. Iron deceased shortly upon arrival.
The driver of the van was also injured and transported to an area hospital.
At this time, police are investigating.
