El Paso, TX – 3 Killed And 3 Injured In 3-Vehicle Collision On Hercules Avenue
El Paso, TX (January 18, 2020) On the evening of January 17th, a fatal three-vehicle collision happened in the 4000 block of Hercules Avenue around 5:00 p.m.
According to police, a man was speeding in a 2016 Dodge Challenger when it rear-ended a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze. As a result, the Cruze spun into the westbound lanes before it collided with a tree. The Challenger then veered into the opposite lanes of traffic and crashed head-on with a 1995 Aerostar.
When the paramedics arrived, they found the driver of the Dodge Challenger dead at the scene. He has been identified as 45-year-old Billy Ray Ethridge Jr. The driver and passenger of the Aerostar, 76-year-old Pascual Garcia and 72-year-old Carolina Garcia-Amaya, also sustained fatal injuries. The driver and two passengers in the Cruze sustained injuries and were tended to by paramedics.
The collision is currently under investigation by authorities.
