Fort Bend County, TX – Laquetta Booe Killed in Crash on FM 1092

Fort Bend County, TX (January 20, 2020) – A fatal collision claimed one woman’s life on Friday.

At around 6 p.m., on January 17, authorities responded to a collision on Farm to Market Road 1092. Reports indicate that 81-year-old Laquetta Booe was attempting to cross the roadway, near Avenue E, when she was struck by a motor vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle, who was identified as Marlon Alexander Zavala, pulled into a parking lot after the accident but fled the scene before authorities arrived.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene and declared Ms. Booe deceased.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
