Houston, TX (January 22, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Tuesday left a Liberty County Deputy injured.
On January 21, authorities responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 10 (Katy Freeway). Reports indicate that a car was traveling in the westbound lanes of the roadway when it struck another vehicle causing a chain reaction, which ultimately led to a vehicle striking a motorcycle, occupied by a Liberty County deputy.
The deputy was injured in the collision and transported to an area hospital for treatment. The number and severity of injuries suffered by others involved in the accident have not yet been released.
