Mark Wesley Swisher and William Charles Mego were killed on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, when a 2017 Peterbuilt crossed the center line striking them head-on. It is unknown why the Peterbuilt tractor-trailer veered over the center line. The driver of the Peterbuilt was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
