Killeen, TX (January 28, 2020) – A major motor vehicle accident closed the Central Texas Highway on Monday.

Around 6 a.m., on January 27, the Texas Department of Public Safety rushed to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on State Highway 95. Reports indicate that two semi-trucks collided along the roadway, at the intersection of Briggs Road, after one truck pulled out into the intersection. Investigations determined that the driver was unable to see oncoming traffic due to dense fog conditions.

Sadly, one person sustained injuries in the collision and was rushed to an area hospital.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation with DPS.
