Tyrese Manigo Killed while Crossing Street in Dayton

Dayton, TX (January 30, 2020) – Reports indicate that 14-year-old Tyrese Manigo was killed while riding his bike to school on Thursday morning. Manigo was on his way to Woodrow Wilson Junior High School in Dayton when he was stuck and killed by a Ford F250 heading Southbound on Highway 321. It appears Manigo was attempting to cross Highway 321 at the time fo the collision.

Manigo was an 8th grader at the school who regularly rode his bike to school. Thursday night’s basketball games at Woodrow Wilson were dedicated to Manigo and there have been discussions about a memorial at the site of the incident.
