La Vernia Crash leaves 3 People Injured
La Vernia, TX. (February 20, 2020)- Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday February 12, just north of La Vernia. The accident occurred around 12 p.m., on U.S. 87 near C.R. 356. The DPS reported that a Nissan Armada stopped to turn left onto a private drive when a Kia Soul slammed into the back of the vehicle. The Nissan’s driver and passenger were treated at the scene for their injuries. The driver of the Kia was transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center with non-incapacitating injuries, and is facing a failure to control speed charge. The crash remains under investigation.
