One Killed in a DUI Crash in East Austin
Austin, TX. (February 25, 2020)- One person was killed in a suspected DUI crash in East Austin. The accident occurred around 5:15 a.m. February 22, in the 7900 block of FM 969, near U.S. 183 and the Travis County Expo Center. According to the Austin Police Department, a drunk driver was speeding when they hit another car that was turning. The driver who was struck died on the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
