Placida Hernandez-Ramirez Hit, Killed in Dallas Pedestrian Accident

Dallas, TX. (February 27, 2020)- Placida Hernandez-Ramirez was killed February 23rd in Dallas on N. Central Expressway near Coit Road.  Hernandez-Ramirez was traveling northbound on N. Central Expressway at around 4:30 a.m. when she was rear-ended by a vehicle.  Hernandez-Ramirez exited her vehicle to exchange information with the driver.  At that time, a passing vehicle struck Hernandez-Ramirez’s car on the left side, hitting her.  The driver who hit her was transported to Medical City in Dallas.  The driver who rear-ended Hernandez-Ramirez was arrested for DUI. Hernandez-Ramirez was pronounced dead at the scene.  The accident remains under investigation.
