Vehicle Collisions in Texas
Nearly two million rear-end collisions occur nationally every year. Most rear-end collisions are caused by negligence, which means drivers are either speeding, driving under the influence, driving while distracted, or all of the above. Rear-end accidents also result from drivers following too closely behind the vehicles in front of them. Drivers should always leave enough space between the vehicle in front of them just in case that vehicle suddenly brakes.
