Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Roosevelt Avenue near Mission Road in San Antonio
San Antonio, TX. (April 3, 2020)- A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle on April 2, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. The accident occurred at about 11:00 p.m. on Roosevelt Avenue near Mission Road. Police reported that the victim was walking on Roosevelt Avenue when a pickup truck traveling northbound struck them. The driver of the pickup truck did not stop after the accident. The victim was transported to Brooke Army Medical Center for serious injuries. The pedestrian later died at the hospital. Police continue to investigate the crash. Once located, the driver of the pickup truck will face a failure to stop and render aid charge.
