The accident occurred around 1:30 a.m. on Interstate 45 North Freeway at Rankin Road. Police reported that a Lincoln Navigator towing a trailer was traveling southbound on the highway when it got a flat tire. A father, mother and their two young children were inside the vehicle when the driver of a Mazda rear-ended their trailer.
