Motorcycle Accidents in Texas
In 2016, approximately 5,286 motorcyclists lost their lives on U.S. roads. Because motorcycles are less visible to drivers, and not as stable as larger vehicles, it’s common for drivers to accidentally strike and seriously harm motorcyclists. Because motorcyclists aren’t physically guarded by their vehicles like other drivers, it’s easier for them to sustain serious injuries in an accident. Depending on the severity of the collision, motorcyclists could even lose their lives.
Immediate family members of deceased motorcyclists may be able to file wrongful death lawsuits if their loved ones were not at fault for the accident.
At The Benton Law Firm, we spend every day defending the rights of our clients and helping families win their wrongful death lawsuits. Fatal accidents are tragic and traumatic. Families have enough emotional distress to deal with, and we don’t believe they should also be burdened by expensive funeral costs and more.
