Carolina Hernandez and Monica Gallegos Killed, 5-Year-Old Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 30 near South Westmoreland Road in Dallas
Dallas, TX. (April 21, 2020)- Carolina Hernandez and Monica Gallegos were killed, and a child was injured in a two-vehicle crash on April 18, 2020 in Dallas, Texas. The crash occurred around 11:00 p.m. on westbound Interstate 30 near South Westmoreland Road. Deputies reported that the two women were leaving the area after helping a family member who was having car trouble. They were reversing onto the right lane of the highway when their PT Cruiser was hit by a Ford F-150. Both women were transported to the hospital, where they both died. The child passenger was transported to Children’s Hospital in Dallas in stable condition. The crash remains under investigation.
