Two Killed in Fiery Crash on Interstate Highway 45 in Palmer
Palmer, TX. (April 21, 2020)- Two people were killed in a crash involving an 18- wheeler on April 18, 2020 in Palmer, Texas. The crash occurred around 12 p.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate Highway 45 near the 260 mile marker. Police reported that the passenger vehicle was traveling on the highway when it struck the median and came to rest facing westbound in the southbound lanes. The driver of an 18-wheeler then struck the stopped passenger vehicle, causing it to catch fire. The driver and passenger of the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
