James Price Jr. Killed, Mario Serranno Critically Injured in a 18-Wheeler Crash on U.S. Highway 190 East in Jasper

Jasper, TX. (April 22, 2020)- James Price Jr. was killed, and Mario Serranno was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash on April 20, 2020 in Jasper, Texas. The accident occurred around 7:00 p.m. on Highway 190, just east of the entrance to the Inman Addition. Police reported that a late model Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck and an 18-wheeler collided for unknown reasons. The driver of the Dodge, 22-year-old James Price Jr., was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the 18-wheeler, 62-year-old Mario Serranno, was transported to Jasper Memorial Hospital where he was airlifted to Beaumont Hospital. The crash remains under investigation.
