Car Accidents in Texas
Every day, at least one person is injured in a car accident every two minutes somewhere in Texas. Accidents are primarily caused by negligence, which includes distractions, fatigue, drug and/or alcohol consumption, cell phones, and more. When drivers are not paying attention, driving aggressively, or driving carelessly, they’re more likely to accidentally rear-end other vehicles.
Depending on the type of accident and who is at fault, injured victims may be able to file personal injury lawsuits in order to receive compensation for medical expenses and more. However, injured victims must file promptly after their accident, as there is a statute of limitations. If you do not meet the filing deadline, you may no longer qualify to file a legal claim.
At The Benton Law Firm, we do our best to help our clients with every step of the legal process until they’ve successfully proved negligence and won their personal injury lawsuits. If you or someone you love was hurt in a car accident, contact our office today for a free consultation at (214)777-7777.
