75-Year-Old Fannie Moore Killed in Head-On Collision on SH 34 near the Kaufman/Ellis County Line

Ellis County, TX. (December 18, 2020)- Fannie Moore was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on December 14, 2020 in Ellis County, Texas. The accident occurred shortly after 3:00 p.m. on State Highway 34, one mile south of the Kaufman County Line. DPS reported that a 1997 Ford Expedition was traveling northbound when it started to slow down and was rear-ended by a 2015 Ford F-250. The force of the impact caused the expedition to veer into southbound traffic and crash head-on into a 1999 Buick Century driven by Moore. Moore was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Expedition was airlifted to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas in serious condition. The driver of the Ford F-250 was uninjured in the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
