Two Injured in 18-Wheeler Crash on State Highway 87 at FM 41 in Lubbock
Lubbock, TX. (March 25, 2021)- Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on March 22, 2021 in Lubbock, Texas. The accident occurred around 7:00 a.m. at the State Highway 87 and FM 41 intersection. DPS reported that an eastbound Jeep failed to yield the right of way and collided with a southbound 18-wheeler. The impact caused the 18-wheeler to flip over. The drive of the Jeep was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the 18-wheeler was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. No further details have been provided at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
