Hanan Ali-Lacy Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on Pleasant Run Road and Ray Andra Drive in DeSoto

DeSoto, TX. (June 14, 2021)- Hanan Ali-Lacy was killed in a two-vehicle crash on June 6, 2021 in DeSoto, Texas. The accident occurred Sunday afternoon at the Pleasant Run Road and Ray Andra Drive intersection. Police reported that Ali-Lacy was pulling off Ray Andra Drive when her Jeep was T-boned by a 17-year-old driver. It is believed that the 17-year-old driver had begun to speed at the time of the crash. Ali-Lacy was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passenger in the speeding vehicle were transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries. No further details have been provided at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
