Two Killed in DUI Crash on FM 1942 near Camino del Ranch Road on Crosby
Crosby, TX. (October 19, 2021)- Two people were killed in a two-vehicle crash on October 16, 2021, in Crosby, Texas. The accident occurred around 11:15 p.m. in the 3300 block of FM 1942 near Camino del Ranch Road. Police reported that the driver of a 2021 Nissan Versa was backing out of a residential driveway when they were struck by a 2012 Toyota Tundra. The force of the impact pushed that Versa into a roadside ditch. The diver and passenger in the Versa were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Tundra was transported to Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital for treatment. The Tundra driver was later arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. No further details have been provided at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
