Three Injured in DUI Crash on Bitters Road near N Loop 1604 W in San Antonio
San Antonio, TX. (November 11, 2021)- Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on November 7, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas. The accident occurred around 2:00 a.m. in the 2300 block of Bitters Road near N Loop 1604 W. Police reported that a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling east on N Loop 1604 W when it struck a raised curb while making a right turn at the intersection. The impact caused the Chevrolet to travel across the southbound lanes where it struck a light pole. The Chevrolet driver then continued to travel southbound in the northbound lanes where it crashed head-on into a Honda Civic. Two people in the Civic were transported to University Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the Chevrolet was taken to the hospital for treatment. The Chevrolet driver was found to be intoxicated and faced two charges of intoxication assault. No further details have been provided at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
