Alan Covarrubias Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on McPherson Road at Shiloh Drive in Laredo
Laredo, TX. (January 24, 2022)- 28-year-old Alan Covarrubias was killed in a two-vehicle crash on December 23, 2021, in Laredo, Texas. The accident occurred shortly before 8:30 p.m. at the McPherson Road and Shiloh Drive intersection. Police reported that the driver of a Chevrolet Silverado collided with a motorcycle ridden by Covarrubias. Covarrubias was transported to Doctors Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Chevrolet fled the scene but later turned themself in. The driver was arrested and faces several charges. No further details have been provided at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
