William Gray Seriously Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 96 at Recreational Road 255 in Jasper County
Jasper County, TX. (June 17, 2022)- 18-year-old William Gray was injured in a two-vehicle crash on June 16, 2022, in Jasper County, Texas. The accident occurred just before 3:00 a.m. at the Highway 96 and Recreational Road 255 intersection. DPS reported that a northbound 2005 Lexus passenger car failed to yield the right of way and collided with a southbound Ford pickup truck driven by Gray. Gray was airlifted to St. Elizabeth Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the Lexus was transported to Jasper Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries. The Lexus driver was cited for failure to yield the right of way. No further details have been provided at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
