One Seriously Injured in Motorcycle Crash on Atkinson Drive at Medford Drive in Lufkin
Lufkin, TX. (September 20, 2022)- One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash on September 16, 2022, in Lufkin, Texas. The accident occurred just before 3:30 p.m. at the Atkinson Drive at Medford Drive intersection. Police reported that an eastbound motorcyclist was struck by a northbound 18-wheeler. Witnesses reported that the driver of the 18-wheeler had run the red light at the time of the crash. The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.
