15-Year-Old Dakody Hall Killed in 18-Wheeler Crash on State Highway 103 at Crain Road in Angelina County

Angelina County, TX. (January 27, 2023)- Dakody Tyshawn Aahmad Hall was killed in a two-vehicle crash on January 4, 2023, in Angelina County, Texas.  The accident occurred shortly after 8:30 p.m. at the Highway 103 and Crain Avenue intersection.  DPS reported that the driver of a 2004 Kenworth 18-wheeler failed to yield the right of way and collided with a 2009 Chevrolet Colorado.  The driver of the Chevrolet was transported to Woodland Heights Hospital with unknown injuries.  Hall, a passenger in the Chevrolet, was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver of the 18-wheeler was uninjured in the crash.  No further details have been provided at this time.  The crash remains under investigation.
