2-vehicle crash involving semi kills 1 on Central Expy in Dallas
DALLAS, TX – One person died, and another went to the hospital with serious injuries after an SUV and an 18-wheeler collided along the highway in Dallas, reports Fox 4 KDFW.
The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. on the Central Expressway near Lovers Lane, which is just northeast of Humann Park.
Authorities have not yet commented on the cause of the crash but have said that two occupants in the SUV became entrapped. Firefighters at the scene extricated the victims, one of whom died at the scene.
It is unclear if the truck driver sustained any injuries in the collision.
A full investigation is underway.
