2-vehicle crash kills 1 on Miller Ave near Ave H in Fort Worth

FORT WORTH, TX – A 25-year-old woman died on a Saturday night in early February when her car collided with an SUV on a busy roadway in east Fort Worth, reports Aol.

The incident happened around 11 a.m. on February 4th in the area of 1600 Miller Avenue, which is just northwest of Eastover Park.

The investigation indicates that a northbound Kia Borrego entered the southbound lane of traffic and struck the victim’s southbound Dodge Dart.

Medics transported the driver of the Dodge to a local hospital where she died a short time later from injuries sustained in the crash. Authorities have identified the victim as Serenity Renee Thomas.

The driver of the SUV also went to the hospital with injuries. At this time, police suspect that they were likely impaired at the time of the accident.

A full investigation is underway.
