64-year-old Clement Asanbeng Asongwe killed in 2 vehicle crash in Arlington

ARLINGTON, TX – A Grand Prairie man was killed earlier this month when he was hit by a vehicle on TX-360 in Arlington.

According to the Dallas Morning News, the incident occurred at about 11:30 p.m on February 3rd when Clement Asanbeng Asongwe, 64, stopped in the far-right lane of the highway near Mayfield Road . For unknown reasons, Asongwe got out of his SUV and was hit by another oncoming vehicle.

Asongwe was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries later on.

The driver involved stopped and cooperated with officers at the scene. Investigators believe poor road conditions were a factor in the deadly crash.
