Multi-vehicle crash kills 1, hurts 2 on I-20 WB near Center St
ARLINGTON, TX – Three vehicles collided on the interstate Saturday morning, killing one driver and injuring the other two, reports Fox 4 KDFW.
The incident happened just before 3 a.m. on the westbound side of I-20 near Center Street, which is just west of the Kia and Mazda dealerships in Arlington.
The investigation thus far indicates that a westbound Yukon collided with the rear of an Avalon. The force of the crash caused the Yukon to roll after striking the median, at which point a Sierra hit the Yukon.
The unrestrained driver of the Yukon died after transport to a local hospital.
Medics transported the other two drivers to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
