3 kids, 1 adult hospitalized in two-car hit-and-run in Garland

GARLAND, TX – Medics transported two toddlers, one infant, and a mom to the hospital Sunday after a hit-and-run crash on the freeway in Garland, reports WFAA 8.

The incident happened in the afternoon on the eastbound side of the LBJ Freeway at East Northwest Highway, which is in southwest Garland, just east of Zacha Junction.

Police have not yet disclosed the circumstances of the crash but say that one of the two vehicles involved fled the scene. They think the vehicle might be a maroon pickup truck.

All four occupants from the other vehicle were hospitalized. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

A full investigation is underway.
