ATV rollover crash in Rusk Co. kills 5-year-old boy
RUSK CO., TX – A little boy died Saturday evening when the ATV in which he was a passenger overturned on a roadway south of Henderson, reports KLTV 7.
The incident happened just after 4 p.m., south of Henderson and southwest of US-259 on County Road 485.
The investigation indicates that the driver of the ATV lost control of the vehicle. The young boy was thrown from the ATV after it overturned, and he died at the scene of the accident.
Neither the 39-year-old driver nor his second passenger, a nine-year-old, suffered injuries in the crash.
A full investigation is underway.
