Fatality reported in crash on N Collins in Sunnyvale

SUNNYVALE, TX – Sunnyvale Police say that at least one person died Sunday afternoon in a collision in east-central Dallas County, reports DFW Scanner.

Fatality Accident (Sunnyvale) Sunnyvale PD is investigating a fatality accident on N. Collins between Town East Blvd and Barnes Bridge Rd. The road is closed for investigation. Take another route!

The incident happened sometime before 3:31 p.m. on Collins Road between Barnes Bridge Road and East Town East Boulevard, which is just south of Lyons Cemetery.

It’s still unclear how many vehicles were involved and what caused the accident. Officials closed Collins Road while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
