Teen killed in Grandview solo crash with ejection on FM916
GRANDVIEW, TX – A 17-year-old teen from Grandview died on Sunday afternoon after crashing his vehicle along a roadway east of the interstate, reports DFW Scanner.
The incident happened just before 2 p.m. in the area of 11500 East FM 916, which is between County Road 204 and County Road 205.
Police say that for unknown reasons, the teen left the roadway and crashed into a tree. The force of the collision threw the driver from his vehicle, and he died at the scene after failed attempts at CPR.
Officials closed several lanes of FM 915 while crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
