Vehicle strikes, kills pedestrian on PGBT at Shiloh Rd

RICHARDSON, TX – A 28-year-old male pedestrian died on Saturday after a vehicle struck him on the turnpike in Richardson, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened at 6:36 p.m. on the eastbound side of the President George Bush Turnpike near Shiloh Road, which is between Breckenridge Boulevard and Lookout Drive.

The investigation thus far indicates that the pedestrian attempted to cross the toll road by foot when the vehicle hit him, and he died at the scene.

Police have not yet publicly identified the pedestrian. They say he was from Crandall.

The driver of the vehicle sustained only minor injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
