Semi-truck crash on I-35E at Bonnie Brae closes interstate

DENTON, TX – Officials closed both sides of I-35E early Sunday morning after an 18-wheeler crashed across the north and southbound lanes, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened sometime before 5 a.m. in the area of Bonnie Brae Street, which is just west of the University of North Texas.

Officials say the crash resulted in a large fuel spill. Hazmat teams worked over several hours to clean up the scene.
