Pedestrian Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Irvington Boulevard near Post Street in Houston

Houston, TX. (May 2, 2023)- A Sam Houston High School student was injured in an auto-pedestrian crash on May 1, 2023, in Houston, Texas.  The accident occurred around 8:00 a.m. on Irvington Boulevard near Post Street.  Police reported that the victim was struck by a vehicle while walking in the parking lot of a Family Dollar Store.  The driver of the vehicle fled the scene of the crash.  The pedestrian sustained unknown injuries.  No further details have been provided at the time.  The crash remains under investigation.
