Teen hurt in 3-vehicle crash on Spring Creek at Preston in Plano
PLANO, TX – A 16-year-old boy went to the hospital late last month after another driver caused a crash and then fled the scene, reports Fox 4 News.
The incident happened on Wednesday, April 26th, around 9 p.m. in the area of Spring Creek Parkway and Preston Road, which is near HEB in the Preston View area.
The investigation thus far indicates that the driver of a white BMW SUV turned abruptly in front of the teen driver on Spring Creek Parkway, causing the teen to crash. The impact then pushed the teen’s vehicle over the median and into oncoming traffic, at which point he was struck by another car.
The driver of the white SUV left the scene of the accident. Police are currently looking for the driver.
The teen driver, identified as Zion Bhagwandin, went to the hospital with non-critical injuries.
It is unclear at this time if anyone else sustained injuries in the crash. Our team will share further details if and when we learn more.
