Accident at construction site near Eagle Mountain injures 2

FORT WORTH, TX – Two construction workers sustained serious injuries last Friday in a construction accident at the site of a new high school near Eagle Mountain.

According to NBC DFW 5, the incident happened in the morning in the area of 3500 West Bonds Ranch Road, which is just southeast of Hick’s Airfield.

The investigation thus far indicates that two workers were hurt when an equipment chain broke as they were digging trenches for water and gas lines.

Medics airlifted one of the workers to the hospital with critical injuries. The other worker went to the hospital via ambulance with non-critical injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
