Man killed in crash on Green Ridge Ln near Lillian

JOHNSON CO., TX – A man died on Wednesday morning in a solo collision that happened along a roadway in northeast Johnson County, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened early in the morning on Green Ridge Lane, which runs south of Sycamore Road in the area of Alvarado.

The investigation thus far indicates that a northbound driver crashed after losing control of his vehicle while navigating a turn in the road.

One person died at the scene of the accident. Authorities have not yet released his name to the public.

Police suspect that speed may have been a significant factor in causing the crash.
