Crash on I-35E SB near Valwood Pkwy blocks traffic in Carrollton

CARROLLTON, TX – A Monday morning accident along the interstate south of downtown Carrollton blocked a lane of traffic while crews responded to the scene, reports KRLD Traffic.

The incident happened around 9:03 a.m. on the southbound side of I-35E near Valwood Parkway, which is just east of Tommy Standridge Stadium.

The circumstances of the collision are still unknown. Police say that the accident blocked the right southbound lane of I-35E during clean-up and a preliminary investigation. There’s no word yet on injuries.
