Fiery semi-truck crash on I-75NB near Parker in Plano blocks traffic

PLANO, TX – Officials closed all northbound lanes of the interstate just east of Thunderbird Estates in Plano after an accident early Wednesday morning, reports DFW Scanner.

The incident happened around 5:10 a.m. on I-75 northbound near Parker Road, which is just west of Parker Crossing Shopping Center.

Police have not yet discussed the cause of the crash, but they say it involved and 18-wheeler on fire. It is unclear at this time if anyone was hurt and if any other vehicles were involved in the collision.

Crews warned motorists to avoid the interstate in the area of the crash and to expect significant delays.
