Solo crash on SH-114 at Kimball Ave in N Tarrant Co. kills 1

SOUTHLAKE, TX – A 28-year-old man died Sunday morning when his vehicle fell from a highway bridge near the Southlake Corners shopping center.

According to WFAA News 8, the incident happened around 1 a.m. on State Highway 114, or Northwest Parkway, near Kimball Avenue.

The investigation thus far indicates that a westbound driver left the roadway and drove off of the TX-114 bridge. The vehicle fell from the bridge and landed on Kimball Avenue, killing the driver at the scene.

Authorities have not yet named the victim, and a full investigation is underway to determine what might have caused the driver to crash his vehicle.
